Virtual Studios Pro is built from open-source software, and it ships the fonts, icons and program files it uses inside the app rather than loading them from other companies' servers. The list below names what is used and under which licence.

Fonts (self-hosted, no requests to font services)

  • Barlow 400, 500, 600 and Barlow Condensed 600, 700 — SIL Open Font License 1.1, shipped via Fontsource.
  • JetBrains Mono 500 — SIL Open Font License 1.1, shipped via Fontsource.

Icons and flags

  • Lucide icons — ISC licence.
  • country-flag-icons — MIT licence.

Software libraries

  • React, TanStack Router and Start, TanStack Query — MIT.
  • Radix UI primitives, shadcn/ui, Tailwind CSS — MIT.
  • Supabase JavaScript client (hosting platform) — MIT.
  • three.js and globe.gl (3D Map, 3D titles) — MIT.
  • Helvetiker typeface (3D title lettering, from three.js) — MIT-compatible typeface licence as distributed with three.js.
  • ag-psd (Photoshop file import) — MIT.
  • gifuct-js (GIF import) — MIT.
  • MediaPipe Tasks Vision (pose tracking) — Apache License 2.0.
  • Tesseract.js (reading names on screen) — Apache License 2.0.
  • ws (Stream Deck plugin link) — MIT.
  • Electron and NSIS (desktop installers) — MIT / zlib.

Models and program files

  • MediaPipe pose model and WASM runtime — Apache License 2.0, downloaded the first time pose tracking is used.
  • Tesseract English language data — Apache License 2.0, downloaded the first time name reading is used.

Studio backgrounds, logos and pictures

The app ships 95 studio background pictures, the Virtual Studios Pro logo and emblem, and the app icons.   • NDI® — NDI® is a registered trademark of Vizrt NDI AB. The app uses the NDI® SDK under its licence for video transport; NDI® is not our technology. Learn more at ndi.video.
  • Stream Deck — Elgato Stream Deck SDK, used under its own licence.
  • Google — sign-in and Google Sheets reading, under Google's terms.
  • Zoom — the app captures the Zoom window you choose; it is not affiliated with or endorsed by Zoom.
  • vMix and OBS — the app's capture windows are meant for them; neither is affiliated with us.

Trademarks

Zoom, Microsoft Teams, Google Meet, YouTube, vMix, OBS, ATEM and Stream Deck are named only to describe compatibility. All trademarks belong to their owners; no affiliation or endorsement is implied.

Your own material

Logos, player photos, video, sheets and text you add stay yours. You confirm you have the right to use them when you add them, and we do not copy them to our servers.
